Senior Software Engineer at CXC Consultants Exchange
Ireland
I've been developing web-based applications now for the better part of 4 years. While mostly working in a LAMP/WAMP environment, I've had the good fortune to hack my way through a myriad of other languages including AJAX, Java, Colfusion, and others.
While at CXC I've been able to mature my Development skills, but moreso my Engineering/Business Analysis skills. It allows me the ability to enjoy programming the deliverables that I create from direct requirements analysis from the end user. I get to see what I analyze in action.
I have a strong IT hardware and administration background. This stems from my love of IT from my mid teens and have kept a professional interest in this side of the Technology spectrum. My time at Epic Solutions allowed me to mix both software and hardware both in the office and out on-site with the customer. Valuable customer facing experience was gained while at Epic, something that often many of us programmers have the stigma of lacking.
